After excelling at Baldwin High School. Rocco Guglielmo attended Roanoke College where he was a two time All America.
During his career Rocco won 72 % of his face-offs, which is the best in school history. He is also one of only two players in program history to lead the team in groundballs for three straight years and is the all-time leader in groundballs. Rocco was chosen to participate in the North - South Senior All Star game. In 1999 Rocco was inducted into the Roanoke College Athletic Hall of Fame.
After college Rocco continued his career playing professionally for the New Jersey Saints and Long Island Sachems, then onto club lacrosse for Duke Tobay Lacrosse Club and 2000 C.A.L.L. League Champion Lacrosse Unlimited Lacrosse Club, at which he was named Tournament MVP.
Rocco may have retired from club lacrosse but he has continued to play tournaments all over the USA, including The Vail Shootout, The Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Tournament as well as the Hawaii Invitational Tournament, where Rocco was named 2003 Offensive MVP. In 2007 Rocco was elected into the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
In 1999 he created Team17, a personal one-on-one instruction program for lacrosse players of all ages. He and his staff provide one-on-one support for players at all skill levels and positions. Hundreds of kids have benefited from their unique program which focuses on improving both the physical and mental aspects of lacrosse, leading to improved skills and confidence.
